Overview
TEELEN XP-200A binocular polarizing microscope is an instrument for studying and identifying birefringent substances by using the polarization characteristics of light. The microscope is widely used in teaching and laboratories, and can be used to observe the crystalline inclusions of living cells, nerve fibers, plant fibers and other structural details, as well as the crystallization of various salts in inorganic chemistry.
Features
1. Binocular observation head, pupil distance adjustment range 53mm-75mm
2. Total magnification 40X~ 1000X, equipped with 4X, 10X, 40X, 100X objectives
3. Round stage diameter φ 120mm, 360 ° swirl/spin, scale value 1 °, vernier value 6 ′
4. Coaxial coarse fine-focusing system, fine-tuning grid value 0.002mm
5.N.A.1.25 Abbe condenser with variable light bar and color filter
6. Built-in polarizer for swirling/spinning polarizer and observation head
7. Built-in dimming 6V20W halogen lighting system
Principle
The XP-200A Polarizing Microscope uses the polarization properties of light to study and identify birefringent substances through the combination of a swirl/spin polarizer and a built-in polarizer. When polarized light passes through a birefringent sample, interference occurs, revealing fine structures that cannot be observed in natural light.
Applications
Medical research, teaching experiments, inorganic chemical analysis, biological sample observation
Steps
1. Turn on the power and turn on the lighting system
2. Adjust the binocular pupil distance to the appropriate position
3. Place the sample on the stage
4. swirl/spin objective converter to select the appropriate magnification objective
5. Use coaxial coarse fine-focusing system for focusing
6. Adjust the angle of the polarizer for polarization observation
7. Adjust the condenser and light bar as needed
Notice
• When using 100x oil mirror, add oil immersion
• Avoid contact between the objective lens and the sample when adjusting the focal length
• Optical inspection parts are cleaned regularly
• Turn off the power after use
• Avoid severe vibration and humid environments
