Overview
The TEELEN XP-200B Polarizing Microscope is a necessary instrument for the research and identification of birefringent substances by using the polarization characteristics of light. The microscope is widely used in teaching and laboratories, and can be used to observe the structural details of crystalline inclusions, nerve fibers, plant fibers, etc., such as living cells, analyze denaturation processes, and observe the crystallization of various salts in inorganic chemistry. Fine structures that cannot be seen in natural light.

1. Trinocular observation head, pupil distance adjustment range 53mm-75mm
2. Equipped with a pair of WF10X/18 eyepieces and four-speed objectives (4X dry mirror, 10X dry mirror, 40X spring dry mirror, 100X spring oil mirror), the total magnification is 40X~ 1000X
3. Round stage diameter φ 120mm, 360 ° swirl/spin, scale value 1 °, vernier value 6 ′
4. Coaxial coarse fine-focusing system with focusing handwheel and parfocal locking, fine-tuning grid value 0.002mm
5.N.A.1.25 Abbe Condenser with φ 2-φ 30mm variable light bar and φ 32 color filter
6. Built-in polarizer for swirling/spinning polarizer and observation head
7. Built-in dimming 6V20W halogen lighting system
Principle
The XP-200B Polarizing Microscope utilizes the polarization characteristics of light to illuminate and detect the sample with polarizers that can be swirled/spinned and built-in detectors in the observation head. When polarized light passes through a birefringent sample, optical path aberration and interference phenomena occur, revealing the fine structure and crystalline characteristics of the sample that cannot be observed under natural light.
Applications
Teaching, laboratories, biomedical research, materials science, inorganic chemical analysis
Steps
1. Turn on the power and turn on the lighting system
2. Place the sample on the stage
3. Focus through coaxial coarse fine-focusing system
4. swirl/spin polarizer to adjust polarization angle
5. Switch between different magnification objectives as needed
6. Observe with a trinocular observation head
7. Turn off the power after use
Notice
• When using 100X oil mirror, add oil drip
• Avoid contact between the objective lens and the sample when focusing
• Optical inspection parts are kept clean
• Turn off the power in time after use
• Avoid violent vibrations and impacts
