Overview
Colony counter is a digital display type semi-automatic bacterial inspection instrument, which consists of a counter, a probe pen, a counting pool and other parts. It is designed and manufactured with CMOS integrated circuit, and the black deep background counting pool is illuminated by energy-saving ring lights. The colony contrast is clear. The instrument can reduce the labor intensity of experimenters, improve work efficiency and work mass.
Features
1. Adopt CMOS integrated circuit design and manufacturing to ensure accurate and reliable counting
2. Black depth background counting pool with energy-saving ring light side-shot lighting, clear colony contrast
3. Three-digit display design, in line with the requirements of bacterial count inspection procedures
4. With charging function, the charging standby time can reach 30 days
5. Equipped with 5-10 times magnifying glass, easy to observe small colonies
6. Standard 2 colony pens, easy to operate
Principle
The instrument counts the colonies one by one on the bottom of the culture dish through the probe pen. Each point of an effective colony will issue a "beep" prompt, and the numbers will be automatically accumulated. The side-shot lighting method is used to make the colonies form a clear contrast on the black background, which is convenient for accurate counting.
Applications
Food, beverage, medicine, biological products, hygiene products, drinking water, industrial wastewater, clinical specimens in the number of bacteria inspection. All levels of health and epidemic prevention stations, environment monitoring stations, food hygiene supervision and inspection, biological products, drug inspection, food factories, daily chemical plants and Universities & colleges, R & D institutions laboratory.
Steps
1. Turn on the power supply, toggle the switch, the light in the counting pool is on, and the display screen shows "000". Insert the probe pen plug into the instrument jack, and press the "reset" button to zero to make the instrument enter the working state.
2. Put in the culture dish to be inspected
3. Use a probe pen to count all colonies one by one on the bottom of the culture dish, and each point should hear a "beep" to indicate that it is effective, otherwise it should be focused
4. Check carefully with magnifying glass to confirm that there is no omission of points
5. The number in the display screen is the number of colonies in the culture dish
6. After recording the numbers, take out the culture dish, press the "reset" button, and the display screen enters the initial state
Notice
• When the number of colonies in the culture dish exceeds 999, the inspection samples should be diluted to ensure the accuracy of counting
• At each point a colony should hear a "beep" to indicate that it is effective, otherwise it should be focused
• After use, press the "reset" button in time to return the display to its original state
• Make sure the probe plug is properly inserted into the instrument jack before use
