Overview
Colony counter is a digital display semi-automatic bacteria inspection instrument, which consists of a counter, a probe pen, a counting cell and other parts. It is designed and manufactured with CMOS integrated circuit, equipped with a black deep background counting cell and energy-saving ring lamp side-shot lighting, so that the colony contrast is clear. The instrument can reduce the labor intensity of the experimenter, improve the work efficiency and work mass.
Features
1. CMOS integrated circuit design and manufacturing, stable performance.
2. Black depth background counting pool, with energy-saving ring light side-shot lighting, clear colony contrast.
3. Three-digit display design, in line with bacterial count inspection regulations.
4. Equipped with a probe pen for semi-automatic counting, easy to operate.
5. With voice counting function.
Principle
The instrument counts the colonies one by one at the bottom of the culture dish through the probe pen. When the probe pen effectively contacts the colonies, the instrument will issue a prompt tone, and the colonies are marked with Color, and the numbers are automatically accumulated. After counting, the number on the display screen is the number of colonies in the culture dish.
Applications
The inspection of bacteria in food, beverages, medicines, biological products, hygiene products, drinking water, industrial wastewater, and clinical specimens is required for laboratories of health and epidemic prevention stations, environment monitoring stations, food hygiene supervision and inspection institutes, biological products institutes, drug inspection institutes, food factories, daily chemical plants, Universities & colleges, and R & D institutions at all levels.
Steps
1. Turn on the power supply, turn on the switch, the light in the counting pool is on, and the display screen shows "000". Insert the probe pen plug into the instrument jack, press the "reset" button to adjust zero, and make the instrument enter the working state.
2. Put in the culture dish to be inspected.
3. Use a probe pen to count all colonies one by one on the bottom of the culture dish. Hearing a "beep" at each point indicates that it is valid, otherwise it should be emphasized. The colonies that are clicked are marked with Color, and the numbers are automatically accumulated.
4. Check carefully with magnifying glass to confirm that there is no omission of points.
5. The number in the display screen is the number of colonies in the culture dish.
6. Record the numbers and take out the culture dish. Press the "Reset" button to restore the display to its original state.
Notice
* When the number of colonies in a culture dish exceeds 999, the inspection sample should be diluted to ensure the accuracy of counting.
* When using the number of pen points, make sure to hear a "beep" sound every time you touch, otherwise the count may be invalid and should be focused.
* After counting, it should be carefully checked with magnifying glass to confirm that there is no omission.
After recording the data, press the "reset" button in time to reset the instrument for the next count.
