Overview
QMB-II minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) tester is a new generation of film tester designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB9267-88, which is specially used to detect the minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) of polymer emulsion. The instrument has the advantages of Benchtop energy saving, ultra-wide table and accurate temperature measurement. It can easily measure the minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) of coatings, gluing agents and other products. It is an important detection tool to improve technical specifications and formulations.
Features
1. Benchtop energy saving design
2. Excellent options, unique concept: using platinum resistance temperature transducer imported from Germany and LU-906M intelligent temperature regulator, the display error is less than 0.5% +/- 1 word
3. Adopt professional semiconductor cooling and high-power regulated switching power supply to reduce noise
4. Built-in water-cut protection system, automatic power outage for the whole machine when water is cut off
5. Ultra-wide workbench: with 6 test strips, 5 samples can be tested simultaneously each time, increasing the testing efficiency by 2.5 times
Principle
The instrument provides different temperature zones through layered plates. Samples are intermediate coated in 6 test slots. The temperature at each point is precisely monitored by a temperature transducer. When the sample forms a continuous film at a specific temperature, its minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) can be determined. The instrument uses an intelligent temperature regulator combined with fuzzy control theory and PID control to ensure temperature control accuracy.
Applications
Polymer emulsion coating, gluing agent, chemical fiber fabric, leather, paper and other surface preparation agent
Steps
1. Prepare sample and Spreader in test tank
2. Set the layer plate temperature range (-7~ 70 ℃)
3. Start the instrument and monitor the layer temperature of 13 temperature measurement points
4. Observe the film formation of the sample at different temperatures
5. Read the temperature data of each point through the inspection table
6. Determine the minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) of the sample
Notice
• The instrument has a built-in water cut-off protection system, and it is necessary to ensure the normal supply of chilled down water when using it
• The size of the test slot must meet the requirements of the national standard: width 22mm (national standard 20~ 25mm), depth 0.25mm (national standard 0.20~ 0.30mm)
• When measuring temperature, pay attention to the temperature distribution of 13 layer points
• Check the working status of each Sensor and Regulator before use
