The LS181 Solar Film Tester is a High Accuracy automotive film detector, suitable for light transmitance detection of automotive window films and ultraviolet and infrared barrier rate testing. The instrument adopts a parallel light path design to ensure that the test data is not affected by the placement of the sample, and can accurately measure large thickness materials. Its Working Principle is to use ultraviolet, visible and Infrared sources to illuminate the measured object, detect the incident ray intensity and transmission Light intensity respectively through the sensor, calculate the transmittance, and directly display the ultraviolet barrier rate, infrared barrier rate and visible light transmittance, which is convenient for users to understand and read.

Principle
The test principle of the LS181 solar film tester is to use ultraviolet light source, visible Illuminant and Infrared source to illuminate the transparent substance to be measured. The sensor detects the incident ray intensity of the three Illuminant and the Light intensity after passing through the transparent substance to be measured, respectively. The ratio of light intensity to incident ray intensity is the transmittance, expressed as a percentage. The instrument directly measures and displays the barrier rate of ultraviolet rays, the barrier rate of infrared rays and the transmittance of visible light, where the barrier rate = 100% - transmittance.

Steps
1. Automatic calibration of the instrument.
2. Put the test object into the test tank.
3. The instrument immediately displays the results of three tests: ultraviolet blocking rate, infrared blocking rate, and visible light transmittance.
Notice
• The instrument is powered by 5V and can use AC/DC power supply or mobile power supply (optional).
• The size of the test slot is 47mm wide x 91mm deep, please ensure that the size of the tested object is suitable.
• This model (LS181) has a peak infrared wavelength of 950nm and is designed for High Accuracy. It is recommended to test the heat-absorbing film.
• Do not use in strong light or extreme environments, so as not to affect the Measurement accuracy.
• The instrument has self-Adjustment. Manual calibration is not required after startup, but it should be ensured that the instrument has been initialized before testing.
• Use the free support rod to make the instrument tilt for easy reading.
