LS160 Portable solar film tester is a compact three-band tester for automotive film light transmitance testing and ultraviolet and infrared barrier rate testing. Its volume is the size of a cigarette case, the card slot is 0.8mm, and it is easy to operate and carry.

Principle
The instrument irradiates the tested film through the built-in Illuminant of specific wavelength (ultraviolet 365nm, visible 530nm, infrared 940nm), and receives the light signal after penetrating the film. By calculating the change of light intensity, three data of visible light transmitter, ultraviolet blocking rate and infrared blocking rate are obtained.

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power.
2. Place the film sample under test into the test slot of the instrument.
3. The instrument will automatically measure and display the results of visible light transmitance, ultraviolet blocking rate and infrared blocking rate at the same time.
Notice
• This model (LS160) can only test thin films, and is recommended for testing heat-absorbing films.
The thickness of the object to be measured should be less than 0.8mm.
• Powered by 4 AAA alkaline dry batteries, please pay attention to the battery power and replace it in time.
• Measurement accuracy of +/- 2% and resolution of 0.1%.
