Overview
The LS162 Portable Solar Film Tester is a compact and portable test instrument with a test slot width of 8mm. It is suitable for testing the transmittance of automotive explosion-proof films and film Glass. The instrument can simultaneously measure the infrared blocking rate, ultraviolet blocking rate and visible light transmittance of materials such as solar film, explosion-proof film, mobile phone lenses, coating materials and light-transmitting substances such as coatings. Its infrared center band is 940nm, which is particularly suitable for testing absorption films.
Features
1. The test notch reaches 8mm, and the film Glass can be directly tested.
2. Small size, easy to carry when going out.
3. UV barrier rate meter, infrared barrier rate meter, and visible light transmittance meter are three in one.
4. Simple operation, fast measurement, just put the test object into the test slot, and display the three test results at the same time.
5. Suitable for solar film, film Glass and other performance display exhibition, production, Quality control, inspection and other occasions.
6. Battery powered, ultra-low power consumption.
Principle
The instrument emits a specific wavelength of light (UV 365nm, visible light 380~ 760nm, infrared 940nm) through the built-in Illuminant. After the ray of light passes through the tested sample, it is received by the Sensor and analyzed for its intensity change, so as to calculate the UV blocking rate of the sample., infrared blocking rate and visible light transmittance. The measurement process is fast and the results are displayed at the same time.
Applications
Automobile explosion-proof film test, Film Glass transmittance test, Solar film performance display exhibition, Production, Quality control, Inspection

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power.
2. Place the test object into a 8mm wide test slot.
3. The instrument automatically measures and displays the results of ultraviolet blocking rate, infrared blocking rate and visible light transmittance at the same time.
Notice
The thickness of the measured object should be less than 8mm.
• Powered by 4 AAA alkaline dry batteries.
• Measurement accuracy of +/- 2%.
The infrared central wavelength is 940nm, making it particularly suitable for testing absorption films.
• Instrument weight is about 165g (including battery).
