Overview
The LS220B used car paint film instrument is a professional instrument launched by the LINSHANG brand to detect the thickness of the car paint surface. The instrument is specially designed for the used car industry. It can quickly measure the thickness of the paint film and help the appraiser determine whether there has been an accident in the vehicle part. The instrument has Bluetooth function and can be connected to the mobile phone software for operation and data management.
Features

4. Probe is ferrous aluminum dual-use type, which can automatically identify the measurement substrate and quickly switch the Measurement mode, or prompt the measured object to be Non-metallic or non-ferrous.
5. The ruby probe is used to enhance the Abrasion Resistance and corrosion resistance of the instrument to ensure long-term effective use.
Principle
Measurement principle of magnetic Induction and eddy Current is adopted in LS220B. After contact with the test surface, the thickness of the surface paint film is calculated quickly by sensing the change of electromagnetic properties of the substrate (iron or aluminum).

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power supply.
2. Place the Probe vertically on the paint surface of the car to be tested.
3. Press the measurement button, the instrument completes the measurement and displays the result within 0.5 seconds.
4. Connect to the mobile phone software through Bluetooth, you can select the corresponding car part item in the software, view, save the data or generate a report.
Notice
• Make sure that the Probe is in vertical contact with the paint surface during measurement.
• Ambient Temperature of the instrument is 0 ℃ -50 ℃, please use it within the specified Temperature range.
• The minimum diameter of the measurement surface is φ 25mm, and the measured surface must meet the minimum curvature radius requirements (convex 5mm, concave 25mm).
• Ensure that the thickness of the substrate meets the requirements (iron matrix ≥ 0.2mm, non-iron matrix ≥ 0.05mm).
• After use, please keep the instrument properly to avoid severe impact or contact with corrosive substances.
