Overview
The UVC-WP Probe is one of the special Probes for LINSHANG brand LS125 ultraviolet radiation luminometer, designed for high-power 254nm sterilization mercury lamps used in the water treatment industry. The Probe Response wavelength is 230nm-280nm, with waterproof function, waterproof depth up to 1 meter, and can accurately measure the ultraviolet radiation intensity and accumulated energy of the sterilization lamp.
Features
1. Large range measurement, Power MAX Maximum can measure 200000 μW/cm2.
2. The instrument can measure energy value and Power value simultaneously.
3. With rich statistical functions, Power real-time value, MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, average value, measurement time, energy value is displayed at the same time.
4. 3 Measurement units can be switched, namely μW/cm2, mW/cm2, and data conversion between different units of W/m2 does not require manual calculation.
5. With waterproof function, the waterproof depth can reach 1 meter.
Principle
The UVC-WP Probe is a digital Probe for the LS125 ultraviolet radiation luminometer in a plug-in design. The Probe has a built-in Sensor with a Light spectrum Response range of 230nm-280nm and a peak Response wavelength of 254nm. It is specially designed to capture the ultraviolet rays emitted by high-power sterilizing mercury lamps commonly used in water treatment. When ultraviolet rays are irradiated on the Probe's Sensor, the instrument converts the optical signal into an electrical signal, and calculates and displays the Power density (intensity) and accumulated energy value of the ultraviolet radiation in real time through the host.
Applications
Strength and energy test of 254nm sterilization mercury lamp for water treatment
Steps
1. Connect the UVC-WP Probe with the LS125 ultraviolet radiation luminometer host.
2. Immerse the Probe in the water body to be tested to ensure that the waterproof part is completely submerged (the waterproof depth does not exceed 1 meter).
3. Turn on the host, and the instrument will automatically identify the Probe model.
4. Align the Probe's test aperture with the UV sterilization lamp to be tested.
5. Read or start recording the real-time Power value, statistical value (MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, Average) and accumulated energy value of UV radiation on the host.
6. You can switch between μW/cm2, mW/cm2 or W/m2 as the display unit on the host as required.
Notice
* Probe waterproof depth is 1 meter, do not use underwater beyond this depth.
Make sure that the test aperture (diameter 10mm) is clean and facing the UV light source without obstruction.
* Measurement accuracy is +/- 10%, please note the measurement error range.
* Probe Light spectrum Response range is 230nm-280nm, dedicated to UV light sources with wavelengths around 254nm, not suitable for accurate measurement of Illuminants in the Miscellaneous band.
* Do not use Probe for glare measurement beyond its range (0 to 200,000 μW/cm2).
* Probe Sensor size is φ 50 * 20mm, please pay attention to the installation and use of space requirements.
