Overview
GRL-20EX explosion-proof lifting three-layer Glass Reaction Kettle is a equipment produced by GREATWALL for material synthesis, distillation, condensing and other experiments. The kettle body adopts a three-layer Glass structure, the inner jacket can be passed into the circulating liquid to adjust the material temperature, and the outer jacket can be vacuumed to achieve thermal insulation function. The kettle body can be lifted and swirled/spun for easy operation and cleaning.
Features
1. Made of high borosilicate Glass, it has excellent physical and chemical performance.
2. Operating temperature range is wide, can be used in -80 ℃ to 200 ℃.
3. Can work under normal pressure and negative pressure conditions, Vacuum Level can reach 0.095 MPa, and the pressure range in the kettle is -0.1 MPa to 0 MPa.
4. The key sealing parts are made of Teflon + FV rubber or TFE protective layer, which is resistant to corrosion.
5. The kettle body and the kettle cover can be separated, the kettle body can be lifted and lowered, and it can also be swirled/spun 120 °, which is easy to feed and clean.
6. Glass interface using flange connection, sealing effect is good and easy to disassemble.
7. Equipped with frequency conversion speed regulation stirring motor, Speed range 50~ 500rpm.
8. Explosion-proof level of the whole machine is Exd ⅱ BT4.
Principle
The Reaction Kettle adjusts the reaction temperature of the material in the kettle by injecting a circulating liquid at a certain temperature into the inner jacket of the three-layer kettle body. At the same time, the outer jacket can be pumped to a vacuum state with a vacuum pump to achieve thermal insulation function and reduce heat loss. By adjusting the valve on the constant pressure funnel, the uniform dripping of materials can be controlled, and the condenser is used for heat exchange to recover the reaction products by distillation. The stirring system drives the Impeller through the motor to mix the materials evenly.

Steps
1. Check whether the components of the equipment are well connected.
2. According to the experimental requirements, raise the kettle body to a suitable height or swirl/spin angle for feeding.
3. Connect the circulating fluid system to the inner jacket and set the desired temperature.
4. Connect the vacuum pump to the outer jacket (if heat preservation is required) and the kettle (if negative pressure conditions are required).
5. Control the drip addition of materials through constant pressure funnel and regulating valve.
6. Start the variable frequency speed stirring motor and set the required Rotation speed.
7. Turn on the condensation system and perform operations such as distillation and recovery.
8. After the reaction, stop stirring and heating/chilling down, release pressure (if any), lower the kettle body for discharge and cleaning.
Notice
• Power supply voltage (220-240V~, 50/60HZ) meets the requirements before use.
• The operating pressure needs to be strictly controlled within the vacuum or atmospheric pressure range, and the pressure range in the kettle is -0.1MPa to 0MPa.
• The temperature difference between the inside and outside of the jacket shall not exceed 90 ° C.
• Ensure that the flange interfaces are tightly connected to ensure the sealing effect and Vacuum Level.
• Pay attention to smooth operation when lifting the kettle body to avoid collision.
• When cleaning or maintaining, please handle Glass parts properly to avoid damage.
• This equipment is explosion-proof, but it still needs to be used in an environment that meets explosion-proof requirements, and the explosion-proof performance should be checked regularly.
