Overview
GRL-30 Lifting Three-layer Glass Reaction Kettle is a equipment produced by GREATWALL for material synthesis, distillation, condensing and other experiments. The kettle body adopts a three-layer structure, the inner jacket can be passed into the circulating liquid to adjust the material temperature, and the outer jacket can be vacuumed to achieve thermal insulation function. It can work under normal or negative pressure conditions.
Features
1. Made of high borosilicate Glass, it has excellent physical and chemical performance.
2. Operating temperature range is wide, can be used in -80 ℃ to 200 ℃.
3. Can work under normal pressure and negative pressure conditions, Vacuum Level can reach 0.095 MPa, and the pressure range in the kettle is -0.1 MPa to 0 MPa.
4. The key sealing parts are made of Teflon + FV rubber or TFE protective layer, which is resistant to corrosion.
5. The kettle body and the kettle cover can be separated, the kettle body can be lifted and swirled/spun 120 °, which is convenient for feeding and cleaning.
6. Glass interface using flange connection, sealing effect is good and easy to disassemble.
7. Stirring using variable frequency speed motor, Speed range 50~ 500rpm.
Principle
The Reaction Kettle adjusts the reaction temperature of the material in the kettle by introducing a circulating liquid at a certain temperature into the inner jacket of the three-layer kettle body. At the same time, the outer Glass jacket can be pumped to a vacuum state, and the thermal insulation function of the kettle body can be realized by using the thermal insulation characteristics of the vacuum layer. The kettle can be pumped to a negative pressure state through a vacuum system to meet specific experimental conditions. The material can be evenly added dropwise through a constant pressure funnel, and the reaction product can be recovered by distillation through a condenser.

Steps
1. According to the experimental requirements, lift or swirl/spin the kettle body to a suitable position for feeding or connection.
2. Control the material to drop evenly into the kettle through the constant pressure funnel or the regulating valve on the feeding bottle.
3. Introduce the circulating liquid at the set temperature into the inner jacket to adjust the temperature of the material in the kettle.
4. Start the stirring motor and set the required stirring Rotation speed through the frequency converter.
5. If negative pressure conditions are required, connect the vacuum pump to pump the kettle to the required Vacuum Level.
6. At the same time, the outer jacket can be vacuumed to achieve insulation.
7. During the reaction, the condenser can be used for distillation recovery of the product.
8. After the reaction is completed, the material is discharged through the discharge valve, and the kettle body can be separated for cleaning.
Notice
• Please ensure that the equipment is used within the nominal Operating temperature (-80~ 200 ℃) and pressure (-0.1MPa~ 0MPa) range.
• Note that the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the jacket should not exceed 90 ° C.
• Please check the integrity of each flange interface and sealing piece before use to ensure the sealing effect.
• When operating the lifting or swirling/spinning kettle body, the action should be smooth to avoid collision with surrounding parts.
• Acceleration should be controlled through the regulating valve to maintain uniformity.
• The power supply of the device is 220-240V~, 50/60HZ, please make sure the power supply matches.
• When cleaning, please pay attention to protect Glass parts and Teflon, TFE and other anti-corrosion layers to avoid scratches.
• Regularly check the operation status of moving parts such as mixing systems and lifting mechanisms.
