Overview
GREATWALL CT-5000L cold trap is mainly used to capture water vapor and harmful gases discharged from Vacuum oven or vacuum condensing device, effectively improve the working efficiency of vacuum acquisition device and prolong its service life. The equipment has a cold trap volume of 10 liters and a minimum temperature of -80 ° C. It can be used as a pre-freezing tank or a low temperature tank.

Principle
Cold trap through its internal low temperature environment, so that the water vapor and harmful components flowing through the gas condensation, freezing, so as to be trapped, prevent it from entering and damage the subsequent vacuum acquisition device, to ensure the efficiency and life of the vacuum system.

Steps
1. Place the equipment in the recommended environment (temperature 5~ 25 ℃, Humidity ≤ 60%) and power on.
2. Add an appropriate amount of refrigerant to the cold trap tank.
3. Observe the temperature of the chilled down liquid in the tank through the digital temperature display.
4. When the temperature reaches the required low temperature, connect the air inlet of the vacuum system and turn on the vacuum acquisition device.
5. After the experiment, turn off the vacuum acquisition device.
6. Drain the collection fluid through the drain valve.

• Please ensure that the equipment is used at the recommended Ambient Temperature (5~ 25 ° C) and Humidity (≤ 60%).
• Power supply voltage is 220V, 50HZ before use.
• Safety protection functions such as delay, leakage, overcurrent, overheating, etc. Do not modify or Shielding without authorization.
• Select the appropriate cold trap material or configure the Glass condenser according to the experimental medium (aqueous solution, ethanol, acid solution or organic solvent).
• Use drain valve when draining collection fluid.
• Device weight is 148kg, please pay attention to safety when moving and installing.
The refrigerants are R404A and R23, and the relevant maintenance should be handled by professionals.
