Overview
The R-1005EX Large Rotary evaporator is a large-capacity, large-diameter swirl/spin bottle equipment with a large evaporation area. It achieves effective evaporation of solvents by placing the swirl/spin bottle in a bath, heating it while swirl/spin, and cooperating with a pressure relief device. The product is specially designed to meet the conditions of use in explosive gas environments. Its motor, heating device and electrical control box are explosion-proof, and the explosion-proof level is dⅱ BT4. It is suitable for pilot tests in the fields of biology, chemical industry, food, etc. It can be combined with circulating water multi-purpose vacuum pump, diaphragm vacuum pump, circulating chill down device, thermostatic circulator, Cryogenic coolant circulating pump and other supporting devices.
Features
1. Adopt "Teflon + FV rubber, fluorinated rubber double sealing ring" technology to ensure the negative pressure index.
2. Equipped with an automatic switching valve, it can be continuously collected without affecting the negative pressure index of the system and solvent distillation.
3. Teflon discharge valve, corrosion resistance, no pollution.
4. The motor, heating device, and electrical control box are all explosion-proof, and the Explosion-proof level is DII BT4.
5. The electrical control box is installed independently for easy operation.
6. A protective cover is provided outside the bath to prevent burns.
7. One stretch forming 304 bath, corrosion resistance.
Principle
When the Rotary evaporator is in operation, the large-capacity swirl/spin bottle containing the sample is placed in the heating bath, and the swirl/spin bottle is uniformly driven by the motor. Under reduced pressure conditions, the solvent in the bottle is heated and evaporated, and the steam flows into the collection bottle after condensation through the condenser tube, thereby realizing the separation and recovery of the solvent.

Steps
1. Install swirl/spin bottle, collection bottle and condensation system.
2. Connect vacuum pump, chilled down circulator and other supporting devices.
3. Turn on the power, set the bath heating temperature and swirl/spin bottle Rotation speed.
4. Start swirling/spinning and heating, while turning on the vacuum system for decompression distillation.
5. Continuous collection of fractions through an automatic switching valve.
6. After the distillation, turn off the heating, swirling/spinning and vacuum systems for discharge and cleaning.
Notice
• Please make sure to operate at the optimum Operating Environment temperature (5~ 35 ℃).
• Equipment motors, heaters and electronic control boxes are explosion-proof and need to be used in explosive gas environments that meet their Explosion-proof level (dII BT4).
• Pay attention to the outer protective cover of the bath during operation to prevent burns.
• Ensure that the sealing system is intact to maintain the System Vacuum Level.
• When the device is moving, use lockable casters and pay attention to safety.
• Do not turn on heating without chilling down the vacuum system.
• Regularly check the wearing parts such as sealing rings to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
