Overview
The R-1010 Rotary evaporator is a large-capacity, large-diameter swirl/spin evaporator produced by GREATWALL. It is designed to use a large-capacity swirl/spin bottle to increase the evaporation area. It is placed in the bath while swirl/spin heating and cooperates with a decompression device to achieve efficient evaporation of solvents. It is suitable for pilot scale-up experiments in biology, chemical industry, food and other fields. The instrument can be combined with Miscellaneous equipment such as vacuum pumps, circulating chillers, etc., and an explosion-proof model suitable for explosive gas environments has been specially developed.
Features
1. Adopt "Teflon + FV rubber, fluorinated rubber double sealing ring" technology to ensure excellent negative pressure sealing performance.
2. Equipped with automatic switching valve, continuous collection can be realized without affecting the negative pressure and distillation process of the system.
3. Equipped with Teflon discharge valve, corrosion resistance and no pollution.
4. The motor, heating device and electrical control box are explosion-proof type, Explosion-proof level is dⅱ BT4, suitable for explosive gas environment.
5. The electrical control box is independently installed for easy operation.
6. A protective cover is provided on the outside of the bath to effectively prevent burns.
7. The bath is made of 304 stainless steel formed by one stretch, which is resistant to corrosion.
Principle
The Working Principle of the Rotary evaporator is to place the large-capacity swirl/spin bottle containing the sample in a constant temperature bath, drive it at a uniform speed by a motor, and evaporate the solvent in the bottle rapidly under the combined action of heating and system decompression (vacuum). After the evaporated solvent vapor is condensed by a high-efficiency condenser tube (main cooling + sub-cooling three-return design), it flows into the collection bottle to realize the separation and recovery of the solvent.
Applications
Biology, chemicals, food
Standards
Explosion-proof level d ⅱ BT4
Steps
1. Install and connect swirl/spin bottle, collection bottle, condenser and vacuum system.
2. Add an appropriate amount of heating medium to the bath and set the desired temperature.
3. Add the sample solution to the swirl/spin bottle.
4. Start the vacuum pump to achieve the required Vacuum Level.
5. Start the swirl/spin motor and set the appropriate swirl/spin speed.
6. Start the heating function and start the evaporation process.
7. Continuous fraction collection via automatic switching valve (if required).
8. After the experiment, turn off the heating, swirl/spin and vacuum systems in turn, and remove the sample after the system returns to normal pressure.
Notice
• Please make sure to use this device at an Ambient Temperature of 5~ 35 ° C.
• Before operation, please check whether all seals (such as PTFE + fluorinated rubber double sealing) are in good condition to ensure the system Vacuum Level.
• When using explosion-proof models, operate strictly under the specified explosive gas environment class (dII BT4).
• Although there is a protective cover on the outside of the bath, the temperature is high during and after heating, and attention should be paid to preventing burns during operation.
• The lifting of the equipment adopts electric mode, please pay attention to observation when operating the lifting to avoid collision.
• The equipment is equipped with lockable casters. Please lock the casters after moving in place to ensure stability.
• Do not exceed the equipment specified Rotation speed (20~ 130rpm) and temperature (RT +~ 99 ℃) range of operation.
• Regularly check and maintain the vacuum sealing system to ensure that the pressure boost rate meets the requirements (≤ 2kPa/h).
