Overview
The R-3001 Rotary evaporator is a commonly used laboratory equipment produced by GREATWALL, which is mainly used for the continuous distillation of a large number of volatile solvents under reduced pressure. The instrument adopts the flexible configuration of the host and the bath separation, and has the functions of electric lifting and stepless speed regulation, which is suitable for a variety of experimental environments.
Features
1. Adopt "Teflon + FV rubber, fluorinated rubber double sealing ring" technology to ensure the sealing performance of the system.
The host power supply is 100-240V 50/60Hz, which has a wide range of applications.
3. Patented structure design, can quickly adjust the swirl/spin bottle tilt angle.
4. swirl/spin shaft quick lock button makes assembly and disassembly more convenient.
5. Electric lifting mode, synchronous belt rotating mechanism, smooth operation, low noise.
6. The host is separated from the bath, and the configuration is flexible.
Principle
The Working Principle of Rotary evaporator is to make the swirl/spin bottle swirl/spin at a uniform speed in a constant temperature water bath by electronic control, so that the solution forms a large area uniform film on the bottle wall, and the system works under reduced pressure to reduce the boiling point of the solvent, so as to achieve efficient evaporation at a lower temperature. After the evaporated solvent vapor is condensed by a high-efficiency condenser, it is returned to the collection bottle to realize separation and recovery.
Applications
Chemical synthesis, biopharmaceuticals, food analysis, environment monitoring, materials science, teaching and research
Steps
1. Install swirl/spin bottle, collection bottle and condensation system to ensure good sealing.
2. Add the sample solution to the swirl/spin bottle.
3. Turn on the vacuum pump to bring the system to the required Vacuum Level.
4. Water bath heating temperature and start heating.
5. Start the swirl/spin motor and set the appropriate swirl/spin speed.
6. Adjust the depth of the swirl/spin bottle immersion in the water bath through the electric lift function.
7. After the evaporation is over, first stop the swirl/spin, then turn off the heating, and finally slowly release the vacuum and remove the swirl/spin bottle.
Notice
• Before use, please check whether the sealing ring of each interface is in good condition to ensure the sealing of the system.
• Vacuum Level should be set reasonably according to the boiling point of the solvent to avoid boiling.
• The heating temperature shall not exceed the boiling point of the solvent used and the maximum temperature of the equipment (95 ° C).
• Lifting and swirling/spinning operations should be smooth to avoid violent shaking.
• Safety protection functions such as over current, ground fault, over temperature, etc. Please check in time when alarming.
• Please use at the Ambient Temperature (5~ 35 ℃) specified by this machine.
• Regularly clean the bath and condenser to keep the equipment clean.
