Overview
The box-type pendulum pipe rain test equipment (model: LX-500) is a test equipment designed with reference to the IP shell Protection Rating IPX3~ 4 level design, which can provide environment simulation and accelerated testing for scientific research, product development and quality control. The equipment is suitable for external lighting and signal devices and automotive lamp housing protection test inspection. It has the advantages of no waterproof treatment in the laboratory, no water splashing and recyclable test water.

1. The box is treated with imported SUS304 stainless steel plate hairline, which is corrosion-resistant and beautiful

4. The pendulum pipe is bent from stainless steel pipe, which can be swung back and forth from +/- 60 degrees to +/- 180 degrees, and the water spray angle is adjustable
5. The transmission is driven by stepper motor and gear reducer, controlled by programmable PLC controller, simple operation
6. The designed load of the sample holder turntable is 30 kg, which can be horizontally 360 degrees swirl/spin, and the speed is adjustable from 1 to 4 revolutions/min
7. The water pressure control system uses a flowmeter to adjust the pressure (100~ 1000L/h), and the test water is partially recycled
8. The control system is equipped with LCD screen, Schneider actuators, Water Filter, no fuse protection switch, etc., with overload, leakage protection and automatic shutdown functions
Principle
The water controlled at a certain flow rate and pressure is ejected through the Nozzle by the swinging pipe of the equipment, and the water test of the specimen is carried out. The swinging pipe is driven by a stepper motor, and the swinging angle and frequency are adjusted by the PLC controller. At the same time, the horizontal swirl/spin of the sample holder turntable ensures uniform coverage of the test. The water pressure is controlled by a flow meter and a manual regulating valve to achieve standardized rain simulation.

Steps
1. Place the sample on the turntable and fix it
2. Set the swing angle, frequency and time of the pendulum tube through the LCD screen and PLC controller
3. Adjust the flow meter to control the water pressure (100~ 1000L/h)
4. Start the pump and turntable and start the test
5. After the test is completed, the device automatically shuts down and takes out the sample
Notice
• Make sure the sample is firmly fixed before the test to prevent movement
• Regularly check the Water Filter and Spray Hole to avoid clogging
• Pay attention to water pressure adjustment during operation to prevent excessive pressure from damaging the equipment
• Do not open the box door when the equipment is running to avoid water splashing out
• Cut off the power supply during maintenance to ensure safety
