The IWAVE WR18-40 precision color reader is a multi-range Handheld domestic (CN) precision color reader with three measurement diameters of φ 4mm, φ 8mm and φ 40mm, of which φ 40mm is a very large measurement diameter. The instrument is small in size, light in mass, easy to carry, beautiful in appearance design, stable and accurate in measurement, suitable for mobile measurement occasions, and has a large storage space, which can store 100 sets of master standards.

Principle
The IWAVE WR18-40 precision color reader uses 8 °/d illumination and a digital diode array Sensor to perform Color measurement under standard illuminant such as D65, A, F2 (CWF). The instrument calculates Color parameters such as L * a * b * by measuring the reflected light on the surface of the object, and can judge Color bias according to the equal color difference data of Delta L *, Delta a *, and Delta b *, providing a basis for Color quality control and color matching color scheme.

Steps
1. Choose the appropriate measurement diameter (φ 4mm, φ 8mm or φ 40mm)
2. Power on and select the operating language
3. Instrument calibrating
4. Select master standard or set standard value
5. Sample measurement
6. Read and analyze measurement results (total color difference and sub-color difference)
7. Color bias is determined based on data such as Delta L *, Delta a *, and Delta b *
8. Store measurement data or connect external devices to output results
Notice
• Operating Ambient Temperature should be in the range of 0~ 40 ℃
• The relative humidity should be less than 85% to avoid condensation
• Storage Ambient Temperature -20~ 50 ℃
Periodic inspection of Illuminant status with a lifespan of 5 years or 1.60 million measurements
• Ensure instruments are fully calibrated before measurement
• Choose the appropriate measurement caliber according to the characteristics of the measured object
Keep the measurement window clean to avoid contamination affecting the measurement accuracy
• Lithium batteries need to be charged as required to ensure the number of measurements
