Overview
The RONGJIDA DM-III minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) meter is developed according to GB/T 9267-2008 standard and meets the test requirements of GB/T 11175-2002. The instrument is used to determine the minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) of polymer emulsion and interface treatment agent, and is suitable for evaluating the film formation of emulsion as a surface preparation agent such as coating, gluing agent, chemical fiber fabric, leather and paper. The instrument adopts multi-channel inspection digital display, the temperature control data is accurate, the calibration is convenient, the automatic Measurement mode avoids human error, and can simply, intuitively and accurately determine the polymer emulsion minimum film forming temperature (MFFT).
Features
It is developed according to the GB/T 9267-2008 standard and meets the test requirements of GB/T 11175-2002.
2. Adopt multi-channel inspection digital display, accurate temperature control data, easy to calibrate.
3. Adopt automatic measurement, no human error, simple, accurate, fast and convenient.
4. Simple, intuitive and accurate determination of polymer emulsion minimum film forming temperature (MFFT).
Principle
The instrument sets the cooling source and the heating source on a suitable metal plate and maintains them at the thermostatic point of the set temperature. Through the principle of metal heat conduction, different temperature layers are generated on the metal plate. Spreader a sample with a uniform thickness on the temperature layer plate, and the sample is subjected to the temperature of the layer plate to evaporate water and film formation. Due to the different temperatures on the layer plate, the phenomenon of sample film formation is also different. Finding the dividing line part is the MFT temperature of the sample.
Applications
Polymer emulsion, interface treatment agent, Coating, gluing agent, chemical fiber fabric, leather, paper surface preparation agent
Standards
GB/T9267-2008、GB/T 11175-2002
Steps
1. Set the cooling source and heating source to the set thermostatic point.
2. Generate a stable temperature layer on the metal layer plate.
3. Spreader the sample to be tested of uniform thickness on the layered plate.
4. The sample evaporates water on the layered plate and films formation.
5. Observe the sample film formation phenomenon and find the dividing line between film formation and unformed film.
6. Read the temperature corresponding to the dividing line, which is the minimum film forming temperature (MFFT) (MFT) of the sample.
Notice
Before use, make sure that the instrument is well grounded and check whether the power cord is in good condition.
• Do not touch the layered plate during the operation of the instrument to prevent burns or frostbite.
• Spreader samples should ensure uniform thickness to ensure the accuracy of test results.
• The instrument should be placed in a stable, ventilated, non-strong electromagnetic interference environment.
• Regularly check the inlet and outlet temperature of the chilled down water to ensure that the chilled down system works properly.
• Do not use corrosion chemicals to clean the surface of the instrument, wipe it with a soft cloth.
• Non-professionals should not disassemble or repair the instrument. If there is any failure, please contact a professional to deal with it.
