Overview
The pull-out adhesion tester is a Portable adhesion testing instrument that uses hydraulic pull-out force to disbond a unit area coating from a substrate. The instrument is suitable for laboratories and factories. It displays the adhesion strength in the measurement range of 0-3000psi in Ps and MPa units through the LCD screen. It has the advantages of waterproof and dustproof, and is equipped with a 15-meter long hose for narrow area measurement.

12. Advanced industrial pressure sensors ensure accuracy continuity
13. LCD display supports MPa or psi units
Principle
The coating sample is applied to a flat plate with a uniform surface structure at a uniform Film thickness, and after drying/curing, the test column is bonded to the coating surface with a special Adhesive. After Adhesive curing, the test combination is placed on the instrument, and the test column is pulled off from the coating by a hydraulic pump at a speed of not more than 1MPa/s. The required force value is directly displayed through the LCD screen to test the force required to destroy the adhesion between the coating/substrate. The damage may be manifested as interfacial adhesion failure or coalescence failure of the coating itself, or both.
Standards
GB/T5210、ISO4624、16276-1、ASTMD4541、D7234
Steps
1. Apply coating sample to plate and drying/curing
2. Adhesive the test column to the coating surface
3. Adhesive curing
4. Place the bonding test combination on the instrument
5. Pull off the test column at a uniform speed through the hydraulic pump
6. Read the force value result displayed on the LCD screen
