Overview
OSP-10/500 is an OSP customized Mayer Rods, using a formed production process, Spreader 10 micron wet film thickness inks or Coatings, application width of 500mm.
Features

3. The diameter of the rod body is 10mm, the total length is 400mm, and the structure is stable.
4. The application width is 500mm, and the effective Spreader area is wide.
5. The hand-held areas on both sides are 50mm each, for a total of 100mm, which is convenient for hand-held operation.
Principle
The coating rod is formed by a process using a precision wire wound structure on a stainless steel rod body to scrape inks or coating on the surface of the substrate to form a uniform wet-film of a set thickness.

Steps
1. Place an appropriate amount of Spreader liquid on one end of the substrate.
2. Hold both ends of the coating rod and keep the bar in contact with the surface of the substrate at an appropriate angle.
3. At a uniform speed and pressure, scrape the coating rod to the other end.
4. After finishing the scraping, lift the coating rod and check the uniformity of the wet-film.
Notice
• Make sure the coating rod is clean and drying without residue before use.
• Maintain uniform scraping speed and pressure during operation to obtain consistent film thickness.
• After use, it should be cleaned in time to avoid Coating or inks drying up in the gaps.
• Please keep it properly to avoid bumping and damaging the wire winding structure.
• This product is a precision tool and is recommended to be operated by trained personnel.
