Principle

The Viscometer determines the viscosity of a specific volume (100 ml) of paints or coatings by measuring the time it takes for them to completely flow out of a standard flow hole (4 mm diameter), which is proportional to the viscosity.

1. Place the Viscometer on the water platform 2. Ensure that the Ambient Temperature is within the range of 25 +/- 2 ° C 3. Pour the paints or Coating sample into the viscosity cup to full scale (100ml) 4. Open the flow hole and start timing at the same time 5. Record the time required for complete sample outflow 6. Correct the measurement results according to the correction factor (0.97~ 1.03)
