Overview
The YONGLIDA rotational viscometer NDJ-79 is a swirl/spin viscometer that indicates measurement readings through the pointer. It is mainly used for the measurement of Tack resistance and absolute viscosity of liquids.
Features
1. Pointer display, intuitive reading.
2. Comes with 4 kinds of rotors (1 #, 2 #, 3 #, 4 #) and reducers, suitable for different viscosity ranges.
3. Provide three Rotor speeds (7.5/75/750rpm) to meet a variety of measurement needs.
4. Measurement error is +/- 5%, Measurement accuracy is +/- 5% F.S.
Principle
The NDJ-79 rotational viscometer drives the rotor to swirl/spin in the liquid at a constant speed through the motor. The rotor is subjected to the resistance of the liquid to generate torque, which is proportional to the viscosity of the liquid. The instrument indicates the torque value through the pointer, thereby converting the absolute viscosity of the liquid.
Applications
Oil, grease, paints, inks, Coatings, paintings
Steps
1. Choose the appropriate rotor and speed combination according to the estimated viscosity.
2. Install the selected rotor.
3. Immerse the rotor in the liquid to be tested to the specified mark.
4. Turn on the power, so that the rotor in the liquid constant speed swirl/spin.
5. After the pointer is stable, read the viscosity value indicated by the pointer.
Notice
• This instrument is suitable for measuring the viscosity of Newtonian liquids.
• Before measurement, choose the appropriate rotor and speed according to the approximate viscosity range of the measured liquid.
• Ensure that the rotor is immersed in the liquid to the required depth.
• During measurement, wait for the pointer reading to stabilize before recording.
• Instrument power requirements are~ 220V +/- 10%, 50Hz.
• The measurement error is +/- 5%, please note the accuracy range.
