Overview
QBJ Cupping test machine is a digital display coating Cupping tester of YONGLIDA brand, which is mainly used to evaluate the performance of anti-cracking or anti-separation from metal substrates after coatings such as Paints and varnish are gradually deformed under standard conditions. The equipment is suitable for relevant national and international standards.
Features
Adopt digital display counting device, Graduation is 0.01mm, accurate reading.
2. High indentation accuracy, up to +/- 0.05mm.
3. The diameter of the punch is 20mm, and the maximum depth of indentation is 10mm.
4. Suitable for test plates of specific size (70mm * 70mm) and thickness (0.30-1. 25mm).
5. Meet relevant standard requirements.
Principle
The tester uses a 20mm diameter punch to indent the coating on the metal test plate at a precisely controlled speed and depth to gradually deform it. During this process, the coating is monitored for cracking or separation from the metal substrate to evaluate its anti-deformation performance.
Applications
Paints coating performance evaluation, varnish coating performance evaluation
Standards
GB/T9753-88、ISO1520-73、GB/T9271
Steps
1. Prepare polished steel plates that meet the requirements of GB/T9271 as the test plate substrate.
2. Cut or prepare the test plate into 70mm * 70mm, with a thickness between 0.30-1. 25mm.
3. On the test plate, the preparation of the coating to be tested.
4. Install and fix the prepared test plate correctly on the testing machine.
5. Start the equipment so that the punch indents the center of the test plate under standard conditions.
6. Observe and record the indentation depth through the digital display device until the preset value is reached or the coating fails.
7. Evaluate the cracking or disbonding performance of the coating according to the test results.
Notice
• The test plate must be flat and not deformed. It is recommended to use polished steel plates that meet the standards.
• The size and thickness of the test plate should be strictly controlled within the specified range (70mm * 70mm, thickness 0.30-1. 25mm).
• During operation, ensure that the punch sinks into the center of the test plate to ensure the accuracy of the test results.
• Regularly calibrate the equipment to ensure the accuracy ( +/- 0.05mm) and the accuracy of the digital display device (Graduation 0.01mm).
• Test results shall be evaluated according to Applicable standards such as GB/T9753-88 or ISO1520-73.
