Principle
The Trip Balance works on the principle of lever equilibrate. When the measured object is placed on one side of the pan, the beam is equilibrated by adding or reducing the standard weight on the other side. The total mass of the weight added at this time is the mass of the measured object.

Steps
1. Place the Balance on a smooth workbench.
2. Check whether the Balance beam is equilibrated and zero if necessary.
3. Place the object to be weighed lightly in the center of the left pan.
4. Use forceps to add the corresponding weight to the right pan from large to small until the beam equilibrates.
5. Read and record the total mass of the added weight, which is the mass of the object.
6. After weighing, remove the object and weight, and return the weight.

• Check whether the Balance is placed horizontally before use.
• The mass of the weighing object shall not exceed the maximum range of 200g.
• Forceps must be used to take the weight, and it is strictly forbidden to take it directly by hand.
• Weighing objects should be handled with care to avoid Impact pan.
