Overview
The MN-B reflection blackness meter is a high-Sensitivity reflectance measuring instrument for measuring the blackness of black and dark gray surfaces. The instrument has stable readings, reliable operation, easy to use, and the measurement accuracy is well related to the densichon reflection photometer specified by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standard.
Features
1. Small size, light weight, real laptop.
2. Power saving, worry-free and effective, one battery can be used continuously for nearly 60 hours to measure nearly 10,000 data.
3. High stability, ready to test.
4. Quartz crystal standard version, the annual change rate is extremely low.
5. LED Long Life Illuminant.
6. Automatic shutdown saves power and avoids battery failure due to liquid flow.
7. The powder sample box and sample press can be selected for accurate powder measurement.
8. The standard gray scale transmits the standard value, which is accurate and reliable.
Principle
The instrument adopts the reflection photometric measurement principle, illuminates the sample surface through LED Illuminant, and determines the black degree by measurement reflectance. The measurement circuit uses High Accuracy, Low drift integrated operational amplifier and large scale integrated circuit A/D converter to ensure stable and reliable reading.
Applications
INKS Determination of Color-Strength and Blackness of Carbon in Paint, Carbon Black and Rubber Industries
Standards
American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)
Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power.
2. Align the measurement aperture to the sample surface.
3. Read the measurements on the display.
4. Optional powder sample box and sample press for powder measurement.
Notice
• Powered by a single AA battery.
• Avoid battery flow causing failure.
• Ensure that the surface of the sample is clean and flat during measurement.
• The instrument has an automatic shutdown function to save power.
