Overview
SGW-2 Automatic (Temperature Control) Polarimeter is a High Accuracy Optical inspection analytical instrument of INESA brand. It uses high-power LED Illuminant, with a lifespan of more than 100,000 hours. It supports four test modes of optical rotation, specific curl, concentration and sugar content. It can automatically retest 6 times and calculate the average value and root mean square. It is suitable for dark samples. In addition, the instrument has a built-in semiconductor Partier device with heating and chill down functions. The temperature control measurement of the sample is carried out through a temperature-controlled testtube to ensure test accuracy and stability.

Principle
The instrument uses a high-power Light Emitting Diode (LED) as the Illuminant and operates at a wavelength of 589.3nm (sodium D Light spectrum). Optical inspection system measures the swirl/spin angle of the sample to polarized light to determine optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration or sugar content. The built-in semiconductor Paltier device provides heating and chill down functions, and the temperature control of the sample is combined with a temperature-controlled testtube to ensure stable measurement conditions.

Steps
1. Connect the power supply (220V +/- 22V, 50Hz +/- 1 Hz)
2. Select ordinary or temperature-controlled testtube as needed
3. Select the test mode (optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration or sugar content) via Touchscreen
4. Place samples and set parameters
5. Start the measurement, the instrument can automatically re-test 6 times
6. View the results, data can be transferred via RS232 or USB interface
