Overview
The SGW-1 Automatic Polarimeter is an INESA brand High Accuracy Optical inspection analytical instrument with a high-power LED Illuminant and a lifespan of more than 100,000 hours. The instrument supports four test modes of optical rotation, specific curl, concentration and sugar content. It can automatically repeability test 6 times and calculate the average and root mean square. It is suitable for a variety of sample analysis including dark samples.

Principle
The SGW-1 automatic Polarimeter operates on the principle of Optical inspection polarization, using a Light Emitting Diode (LED) as the Illuminant, and operates at a wavelength of 589.3nm (sodium D Light spectrum). The instrument determines the optical rotation by measuring the swirl/spin angle of the sample to the polarized light, and then calculates related parameters such as specific rotation, concentration, and sugar content.

Steps
1. Connect the power supply (220V +/- 22V, 50Hz +/- 1 Hz) and turn it on
2. Select the test mode (optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration or sugar content) through the 7-inch color LCD Touchscreen
3. Load the sample into the standard testtube (100mm or 200mm ordinary type)
4. Place the sample and initiate the test
5. The instrument automatically performs measurement, and can be set to automatically retest 6 times
6. Review test results, including mean and root mean square calculations
7. Data can be exported via RS232/USB interface
