Overview
WRS-3A Melting point meter is an upgraded PID temperature automatic control system product of INESA brand based on the original WRS-3. The instrument can measure three samples at the same time and calculate the average value. It uses capillary tubing as the sample tube stipulated by pharmacopoeia, combines color LCD Touchscreen display and various communication interfaces, and supports data storage and export.
Features
1. Adopt PID temperature automatic control system
2. Simultaneous measurement of three samples and calculation of the average
3. Color LCD Touchscreen Display
4. With a variety of communication interfaces, it supports data storage and export
5. Free switching between visual measurement and automatic measurement
6. Suitable for melting point measurement of deep Color samples
7. Wide range of measurement samples, easy to use
Principle
The instrument adopts PID temperature automatic control system to precisely control the heating process. Through photoelectric detection of automatic measurement melting point, while supporting visual observation measurement, the two measurement methods can be freely switched. The capillary tubing specified in the pharmacopoeia is used as the sample tube to detect the sample melting process at the set heating rate.
Applications
Drug testing, chemical analysis, material research, quality control
Standards
Pharmacopoeia regulations
Steps
1. Prepare samples and load capillary tubing
2. Set heating rate and measurement parameters
3. Select automatic or visual measurement
4. Start the measurement process
5. Observe or automatically record melting point data
6. Save or export measurement results
Notice
• Please read the instructions carefully before use
• Power frequency meets 220V +/- 22V requirements
• The size of the capillary tubing must meet the specifications
• The sample height should be controlled at about 3mm
• Note that the heating rate setting range is between 0.1 and 10 ° C/min
• Regularly calibrate the instrument
• Avoid use in humid or vibrating environments
