Overview
WRS-2 microcomputer Melting point meter is an automatic melting point measuring instrument of INESA brand. It adopts photoelectric automatic detection technology and color LCD display to automatically calculate the average melting point and record the melting Linear dispersion. The instrument uses the capillary tubing specified in the Pharmacopoeia as the sample tube and is suitable for accurate measurement of the melting point of the sample.
Features
1. Using photoelectric automatic detection technology to ensure measurement accuracy.
2. Color LCD display, intuitive and easy to read.
3. Numeric keyboard input, easy to operate.
4. A capillary tubing of the sample can be installed for measurement, and the average melting point can be automatically obtained.
5. Automatically display the initial and final melting temperatures, and record the melting Linear dispersion.
6. The temperature system uses high Linearity platinum resistance detection elements, combined with PID adjustment technology, to improve accuracy and reliability.
7. Equipped with a communication interface, it supports printing or saving working parameters.
8. Use the capillary tubing specified in the Pharmacopoeia as the sample tube to meet the standard requirements.
Principle
The WRS-2 microcomputer Melting point meter monitors the sample melting process through the photoelectric automatic detection system, uses high Linearity platinum resistance as the temperature detection element, and combines PID adjustment technology to precisely control the heating rate. The instrument automatically records the initial and final melting temperatures, calculates the average melting point, and displays the results and the melting Linear dispersion through the color LCD screen.
Applications
Drug testing, chemical analysis, materials research
Standards
Pharmacopoeia standard
Steps
1. Prepare the sample and load the sample using the capillary tubing specified in the Pharmacopoeia, with a height of about 3mm.
2. Insert the capillary tubing into the instrument sample grade.
3. Enter the parameters through the numeric keypad and select the heating rate (optional 0.2/0 5/1/1 5/2/3/4/5 ℃/min eight gears).
4. Start the measurement, the instrument automatically detects and displays the initial melting, final melting temperature and melting Linear dispersion.
5. The instrument automatically calculates the average melting point, and the results can be viewed on the LCD screen or printed and saved through the communication interface.
Notice
• Make sure to use capillary tubing with outer diameter φ 1.4mm, inner diameter φ 1.0mm and length 90mm.
The sample height should be controlled at around 3mm.
• The power requirements are 220V +/- 22V, 50Hz +/- 1Hz to avoid voltage fluctuations.
• Heating rate selection needs to be adjusted according to sample characteristics, with an error range of +/- 10%.
• Instrument Indication Error is +/- 0.4 ℃ (≤ 200 ℃) and +/- 0.7 ℃ (> 200 ℃), pay attention to calibrate when using.
• The repeability is +/- 0.3 ° C (at 1.0 ° C/min heating rate) to ensure consistent measurement conditions.
• Avoid running in a high temperature environment for a long time to prevent the instrument from overheating.
• Periodic multi-point calibrating to maintain measurement accuracy.
