Overview
The SGW X-5 microscopic Melting point meter is a precision measuring instrument of the INESA brand. It uses PID temperature adjustment technology to accurately control temperature changes, and combines a microscope camera and a color LCD Touchscreen to visually display the melting process of the sample. The instrument supports two melting point measurement methods of capillary method and hot table method, which can measure solid and powder samples to meet different user requests.
Features
1. Adopt PID temperature adjustment technology to accurately control the change of temperature measurement.
2. Using a microscope camera and a color LCD Touchscreen, the melting process of the sample under the Microscope is visually displayed on the screen, and users can more accurately observe and control the measurement process.
3. The measured temperature value (initial melting, final melting) data can be stored, which is convenient for users to view at any time.
4. The test results can be transferred to a PC for processing through the USB interface, or the test results can be printed by connecting a micro printer.
5. The instrument has two melting point measurement methods, capillary method/hot table method, which can measure solid and powder samples to meet different user requirements.
Principle
The instrument precisely controls the heating process through PID temperature adjustment technology, and uses a microscope camera to capture the melting image of the sample in the hot table or capillary tubing in real time, and displays it through a color LCD Touchscreen. Users observe the initial and final melting process of the sample, and the system records the temperature data and supports storage and output.
Steps
1. Select the measurement method (capillary method or hot table method) and prepare the sample.
2. Set the heating rate (0.2/0 5/1/1 5/2/3/4/5 ℃/min eight gears optional).
3. Start the measurement through Touchscreen and observe the sample melting process displayed on the screen.
4. Record the initial and final melting temperatures.
5. Store the data or transfer it to the PC through the USB interface, or connect the printer to print the results.
Notice
• Make sure the Power frequency is 220V +/- 22V and the frequency is 50Hz +/- 1Hz to avoid equipment damage.
• Check the capillary tubing size (outer diameter φ 1.4mm, inner diameter φ 1.0mm, length 90mm) and slide size (76.2 * 25.4mm or 18 * 18mm) before use to ensure compatibility.
The sample height should be controlled within 3mm to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Periodic multi-point calibrating to maintain temperature Indication Error within the allowable range (capillary method: ≤ 200 ℃: +/- 0.4 ℃; > 200 ℃: +/- 0.7 ℃; hot table method: room temperature~ 100 ℃: +/- 0.4 ℃; 100 ℃~ 200 ℃: +/- 0.6 ℃; 200 ℃~ 300 ℃: +/- 0.8 ℃).
• Avoid operating at high temperatures for a long time to prevent overheating from affecting the lifespan of the instrument.
• The data storage capacity is 1000 sets, and the data is exported regularly to prevent loss.
When connecting an external device (e.g. a PC or printer), ensure that the interface is compatible (USB or USB flash drive).
