Overview
WGZ-1000B Portable Turbidity Meter is an instrument of INESA brand for measuring the scattering and attenuation of light generated by insoluble particulate matter suspended in water or transparent liquid, and can characterize the content of these suspended particulate matter by Basis Weight. Widely used in water plants, food, chemical industry, power plant, metallurgy, environmental protection, beverage, wine and other industries, it is a commonly used laboratory instrument.
Features
1. Adopt microcomputer technology, low power consumption configuration, touch keyboard, backlit LCD display
2. LED Infrared source, battery powered and USB powered, with automatic power-off power saving function
3. Scattered-transmitted light measurement principle, ratio calibrated
4. Automatic range switching, support multi-point calibrating
5. With average measurement function; can store 2000 sets of test data, data can be saved, printed, uploaded
6. Time, date, sample name, user name setting function, in line with GLP specifications and ISO7027 industry standards
7. USB communication interface, support connecting to PC for data upload
Principle
Using scattering - transmitted light measurement principle, the sample is irradiated by the LED Infrared source, measurement of the degree of light scattering and attenuation of insoluble particulate matter suspended in water or a transparent liquid produced, using the ratio calibrated Basis Weight characterization of these suspended particulate matter content.
Applications
Water plant, food, chemical industry, power plant, metallurgy, environmental protection, beverage, wine making
Standards
GLP specification, ISO7027 industry standard
Steps
1. Prepare sample bottles (< unk > 25mm × 65mm) and 20ml-30ml samples
2. Turn on the instrument power supply (4 AA alkaline batteries or 5V/USB power supply)
3. By touch keyboard calibrate (support 6 point calibrate)
4. Place the sample in the instrument measurement chamber
5. Select measurement mode and parameter settings
6. Start measurement and read LCD results
7. Data can be saved, printed, or uploaded to a PC via the USB interface
Notice
• Make sure the instrument is accurately calibrated before use
• The size of the sample bottle should be 25mm × 65mm
• The sample capacity is controlled within the range of 20ml-30ml
• Regularly check the battery level or USB power supply status
• Avoid direct light and violent vibration
• Pay attention to the sample name and user name settings when storing data
• When using the optional printer, you need to connect the dot matrix printer CK NT-T24S.
