Overview
MITECH CDX-A Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment can accurately and intuitively display the shape, location, size and severity of defects based on the principle of magnetic interaction between leakage magnetic field and magnetic particles. The instrument can be equipped with A, D, O three Probe, to achieve magnetic clamp type, electromagnetic yoke, cross yoke, ring type four flaw detection functions, using a variety of magnetization methods, can detect various parts of the workpiece, is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, railway and other fields of defect detection.

Principle
The object of the ferromagnetic material to be tested is placed in a strong magnetic field or magnetized by a strong current. If there are defects (crazing, folding, inclusions, etc.) on or near the surface of the object, the magnetic field lines will produce magnetic leakage near these defects. When magnetic particles (usually magnetic oxidation iron powder) with good magnetic conductivity are applied to the object, the leakage magnetic field near the defect will attract the magnetic particles, pile up to form visible traces of magnetic particles, and form visible magnetic marks under suitable lighting, thereby showing the location, size, shape and severity of the defect.
