Overview
BH-90A-C2H4O is a cost-effective Portable single Gas detector of BOSEAN brand, specially designed to detect ethylene oxide (C2H4O) gas. The instrument adopts mainstream 8-bit microcontrol technology, which has the characteristics of fast Response Speed, High Measurement accuracy, Stability and Repeatability. The fuselage is compact, easy to operate, and has IP65 high-grade waterproof performance, which can adapt to harsh working environments. The shell is made of high-strength ABS material, equipped with three alarm functions of sound, light and vibration, which is safe and reliable, and the high and low alarm values can be customized.

Principle
The Portable Gas detector uses the diffusion Sampling method. The target gas (ethylene oxide) in the environment naturally diffuses through the air inlet hole of the instrument housing into the Sensor gas chamber. The Sensor (depending on the model electrochemistry or infrared principle) reacts with the gas to generate an electrical signal proportional to the gas concentration. The signal is processed by the instrument's microcontroller, and finally the gas concentration value is displayed in real time on the display screen. When the concentration exceeds the preset Alarm threshold, the instrument will trigger an acoustic, optical and vibration alarm.

Steps
1. Press the power button for a long time to turn it on, and the instrument will self-test.
2. After the self-test is completed, the instrument enters the normal working state, and the screen displays the real-time gas concentration.
3. In a safe environment, you can enter the settings through the menu key, and adjust the high and low alarm values and other parameters as needed.
4. Carry or place the instrument in the area to be tested to ensure that the air inlet of the Sensor is not blocked.
5. During the monitoring process, pay attention to the screen readings and alarm prompts.
6. After use, press the power button for a long time to shut down and charge the built-in battery in time.
Notice
• The instrument is designed to detect ethylene oxide (C2H4O), do not use it to detect Miscellaneous uncalibrated gases.
• Please use within the range of Ambient Temperature (-20~ 50 ℃) and Humidity (0~ 95% RH non-condensation) calibrated by the instrument.
• Avoid severe impact or drop of the instrument to prevent damage to the Sensor and internal components.
• Periodically calibrate the instrument to ensure detection accuracy, Sensor nominal life is 2 years.
• When the instrument issues a low battery alarm, it should be charged in time, and the Charging time should be less than 5 hours.
When an alarm occurs, appropriate safety measures should be taken immediately and evacuated to a safe area.
• The instrument has an explosion-proof marking (Exib IIB T3 Gb), but it still needs to be used in a specified hazardous location.
• When cleaning the instrument, please wipe it with a soft damp cloth, do not use corrosion chemical solvents or soak cleaning.
