The NIRUN NTV-CAP1HB cone-plate viscometer is a High Accuracy viscosity measurement instrument with a 7-inch wide Touchscreen design for easy operation and rich display information. It supports a variety of viscosity units and rheological characteristics measurement, suitable for viscosity testing of medium to high viscosity fluids.

Principle
The cone-plate viscometer generates shear force through the rotor swirling/spinning in the sample for measurement of fluid viscosity. Built-in PT100 temperature Probe monitors temperature, ARM chip processes data quickly, Gigabit network port transmits data, supports multiple measurement modes and unit conversion.
Applications
Medium viscosity fluids: hot-melt adhesives, coatings, Resin, starch, silk screen inks, surface preparation, organic solvents, frost, food, gel, chewing gum, plastic sol, etc.; High viscosity fluids: Adhesive, gel, sealing agent, asphalt, Printing ink, chocolate, tar, molasses, paste, synthetic polymers, epoxy polymers, vinyl esters, roofing materials
Steps
1. Connect the Power Adapter and turn it on
2. Select or install suitable rotors (e.g. CPE-40, CPE-41, etc.)
3. Set the speed (0.1~ 250rpm) and measurement parameters
4. Add the sample to the specified amount (determine the sample amount according to the rotor model)
5. Start the measurement and observe the viscosity value and Linear dispersion displayed on the Touchscreen
6. Optional DV software for data collection and analysis
7. Use a USB stick or Gigabit Ethernet port to save data

• Power frequency in 100V-240V range
• Choose the right rotor and measurement range based on fluid viscosity
• Pay attention to the alarm prompt when exceeding the measurement range
• Temperature and viscosity correction factors need to be modified under the premise of reliable data
• Clean the rotor after use to prevent sample residue from affecting accuracy
