Overview
The NIRUN CPA-52Z is an optional rotor for the NTV-CAP1 series cone-plate viscometer with a shear rate of 2.0N and a sample size of 0.5 ml.
Features
The shear rate is 2.0N.
2. The applicable sample volume is small, only 0.5ml.
3. Specially designed for NIRUN NTV-CAP1 series cone-plate viscometer.
Principle
As the core measurement component of the cone-plate viscometer, this rotor works in conjunction with the host. During measurement, the sample is filled in the narrow gap formed between the rotor and the fixed plate. The host drives the rotor to set the rotational speed (N) swirl/spin. The viscosity of the sample can be calculated by measuring the torque required for the rotor to swirl/spin in the sample, combining known geometric parameters (e.g. cone angle, radius) and rotational speed. Its shear rate is linearly related to the rotational speed (N), specifically 2.0N.
Applications
Suitable for NIRUN NTV-CAP1 series cone-plate viscometer for accurate measurement of viscosity of various fluids.
Standards
The data did not mention specific compliance criteria.
Steps
Make sure the Viscometer host (NTV-CAP1) is ready and calibrated.
2. Install the CPA-52Z rotor correctly onto the shaft of the Viscometer main engine.
3. Take 0.5ml of the sample to be tested and carefully add it to the center of the measurement plate.
4. Set the required test parameters (e.g. speed, temperature) through the host control panel.
5. Start the measurement program, the host will drive the rotor swirl/spin and automatically calculate and display the viscosity value.
6. After the test is completed, lift the rotor, clean the rotor and measurement plate.
Notice
Please make sure that the rotor model CPA-52Z is compatible with your NTV-CAP1 series mainframe.
• When adding samples, it is necessary to precisely control the sample volume to 0.5ml, too much or too little may affect the measurement accuracy.
• Be careful when installing and disassembling the rotor to avoid bumping and damaging its delicate surface.
• Before and after each use, the rotor and measurement plate must be thoroughly cleaned to prevent cross-contamination or measurement errors due to sample residues.
• Follow all safety and operating instructions in the host NTV-CAP1 user manual when operating.
