The NIRUN NTV-CAP2 (400rpm) cone-plate viscometer is a precision instrument for the measurement of fluid viscosity with a 7-inch wide touchscreen for easy operation. It is suitable for the measurement of medium to high viscosity fluids such as hot-melt adhesives, Coatings, Resin, Adhesive, asphalt, etc.

Principle
The cone-plate viscometer calculates the viscosity by driving the conical rotor to swirl/spin in the sample and measuring the resistance (torque) generated by the fluid to the rotor. The built-in PT100 temperature probe monitors the sample temperature in real time to ensure measurement accuracy. The instrument processes the data quickly through the ARM chip and displays the shear rate, shear stress and viscosity values on the touch screen.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate CAP rotor according to the sample viscosity and install it.
2. Place an appropriate amount of sample on the measurement platform.
3. Set measurement parameters (such as shear rate, temperature, etc.) through the touch screen.
4. Activate automatic lift positioning to bring the rotor into contact with the sample.
5. Start measurement, the instrument automatically displays and records viscosity, temperature and other data.
6. After the measurement is completed, you can choose to save the data through the U disk, gigabit network port, or use the optional software to analyze the Linear dispersion on the computer.
Notice
• Please select the appropriate CAP rotor according to the sample viscosity range to ensure the Measurement accuracy.
• Ensure that the sample temperature is stable before measurement to obtain accurate data.
• Clean the rotor and measurement platform in time after use to prevent sample residue from affecting subsequent measurement.
Measurement range of the instrument will issue an alarm prompt, please adjust the parameters or replace the rotor in time.
• When correcting the temperature and viscosity coefficient by yourself, ensure reliable and accurate reference data.
• Please use the AC power adapter (100V-240V) that matches the specifications.
