Overview
The PUSHEN Din8 Handheld Portable DIN Cup is a Portable viscosity measurement tool designed for rapid measurement of paints and similar fluids outflow time in the workshop. It features an aluminum cup body with a stainless steel nozzle and a stainless steel annular handle on the edge for easy operation.
Features
1. Portable design, suitable for workshop rapid measurement.
2. Aluminum cup body, sturdy and durable.
3. Stainless steel nozzle, corrosion resistance and precision.
4. Equipped with stainless steel ring handle, easy to operate.
Principle
The viscosity cup assesses the viscosity of the liquid by measuring the time it takes for a specific volume (100ml) of liquid to completely flow out of the standard flow hole (8mm diameter) at the bottom of the cup body. The longer the flow time, the higher the viscosity of the liquid is usually indicated.
Applications
Paints and similar liquid viscosity measurement
Steps
1. Make sure the viscosity cup is clean and drying.
2. Plug the flow hole with your finger and pour the liquid to be tested into the cup until it is full (capacity 100ml).
3. Quickly remove your finger and start the timer.
4. Observe the process of liquid outflow and stop counting when the liquid flow stops for the first time.
5. Record the time when the liquid is completely discharged, which is the measurement result.
Notice
• Before use, please make sure that the viscosity cup and flow hole are clean, drying and free of blockage.
• Keep the viscosity cup vertical during measurement to ensure that the flow hole faces down.
• Ambient Temperature may affect measurement results and is recommended under standard conditions.
• It should be cleaned in time after use to prevent the residue curing from blocking the flow hole.
• Please keep it properly to avoid collision and deformation of the flow hole affecting the accuracy.
