Overview
PNSHAR PN-48B whiteness analyzer is a professional instrument for measuring the whiteness of objects, widely used in papermaking, Spinning & weaving, printing and dyeing, plastics, ceramics, enamel, grain, building materials, paints, chemical industry, salt and other production and commodity inspection departments. The instrument can not only measure ISO luminance (R457 whiteness) and fluorescence whiteness, but also measure the transparency, Opacity, light scattering coefficient and absorption coefficient of paper.
Features

Principle
The instrument simulates the D65 illuminator for illumination, and uses d/o (diffuse illumination, vertical observation) illumination to observe Geometry conditions. By measuring the reflection of light rays on the surface of the object, and according to the relevant Optical inspection principles and standards, a series of parameters such as whiteness (ISO luminance R457), Lightness stimulation value Y10, transparency, Opacity, light scattering coefficient and absorption coefficient are calculated.

Steps
Connect the power supply (100~ 240) VAC 2A 50/60Hz).
2. Boot preheating to ensure that the working environment meets the requirements (indoor temperature (20 +/- 10) ℃, relative humidity < 85%).
3. According to the Chinese and English menu prompts, perform instrument zeroing and calibrating operations.
Prepare the sample (test plane ≥ 30mm, thickness ≤ 40mm) and place it under the test hole (≤ 30mm).
5. Select the desired measurement functions (such as whiteness, transparency, Opacity, etc.) through the LCD menu.
6. Start measurement, the instrument can make single or multiple measurements.
7. Read and record measurement results, the instrument can automatically calculate the arithmetic average of multiple measurements.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is used in a working environment that meets the requirements: indoor temperature (20 +/- 10) ℃, relative humidity < 85%.
The sample size must meet the requirements: the diameter of the test plane is not less than 30 mm, and the thickness is not more than 40 mm.
• The instrument has a power-off protection function, but do not power off frequently unless necessary.
• Please read the relevant execution standards carefully before operation to ensure that the Measuring methods and conditions comply with the regulations.
• Keep the integrating ball (150mm) and test hole clean to avoid contamination affecting Measurement accuracy.
• Be careful when handling or moving the instrument, the instrument weight is about 11.5 kg.
