Overview
The PN-ST500 computer stiffness tester is a multi-functional smart instrument from the PNSHAR brand. It is suitable for measuring the bending stiffness of paper, Cardboard and Miscellaneous sheet Non-metallic materials with a thickness of less than 2mm. Stiffness is an important indicator of the bending strength of materials. The instrument helps to control the stiffness within a reasonable range through scientific testing to meet customer requirements and optimize costs. The instrument is operated by a color Touchscreen, with functions such as automatic zero adjustment, Linear dispersion display and data statistical analysis.
Features
The test angle can be arbitrarily set between 1 ° and 90 °, and standard tests such as 7.5 ° and 15 ° are supported.

Principle
Driven by a motor, the instrument bends a sample of a specified size to a set angle, and accurately measures the force or moment required to complete the bending process as the stiffness value of the material. The test process and data are displayed in real time through a color Touchscreen, and the relationship between stiffness and time can be plotted. Linear dispersion enables fully automated stiffness performance detection and analysis.

Steps
1. Prepare specimens with a thickness of less than 2mm.
2. Set the required test angle (1 ° -90 °) and test time (3s-30s) through Touchscreen.
3. Select and install the corresponding curved length indenter (50mm, 25mm or 10mm).
4. Place the sample in the test position, and the instrument has the function of automatic zeroing without manual alignment.
5. Start the test, the instrument automatically completes bending, measurement and data recording.
6. After the test is completed, the instrument returns to the starting position at high speed.
7. View and count test data through Touchscreen, and optionally print out.
Notice
• Please ensure that the working environment is indoor temperature (20 +/- 10) ℃, relative humidity < 85%.
• Power supply voltage range of the instrument is AC 100~ 240V, please use the matching power supply.
• Please confirm that the sample thickness is less than 2mm before testing.
• The curved length indenter has different specifications, please choose the installation correctly according to the test requirements.
The return speed can be set between 1 and 12 as needed to adapt to different test rhythms.
• If you need to communicate with the host computer, you need to purchase additional supporting software.
