Overview
The PNSHAR PN-ZQX1000 paper Air Permeability Tester is a special instrument designed and manufactured for measuring the air permeability of materials such as cement bag paper, paper bag paper, cable paper, copy paper and industrial filter paper. The instrument consists of a container on a fixed pillar, a paper sample clamp ring and a pressure gauge. It is suitable for paper with Air Permeability between 1 × 10-2 - 1 × 102 µm/(Pa · s).

Principle
The Working Principle of this instrument is to determine the average air Flow rate per unit area of paper under unit time and unit pressure difference under specified conditions.

Steps
1. Place the instrument on a solid and stable workbench and adjust it to a level using a leveler and adjusting bolts.
2. Inject distillation water into the container through the water filling valve with funnel.
3. Use overflow valves and regulating valves to control the flow rate of water.
4. Fix the pattern to the pattern clamp ring, ensuring that the center hole of the clamp ring is aligned with the 10cm ² hole on the air box.
5. Connect the air box to the exhaust pipe and the rubber hose of the pressure gauge.
6. Operate the ventilation valve, test and read the data under the specified conditions.
Notice
• The instrument is suitable for papers with Air Permeability between 1 × 10-2 - 1 × 102 µm/(Pa · s), not for papers with large surface roughness.
• Use conditions are room temperature (20 +/- 10) ℃, clean air environment.
• The instrument must be placed on a solid and stable bench and adjusted to a horizontal state.
• Ensure that the pattern clamp ring and the hole with an area of 10cm ² on the air box are aligned, and the inner diameter and coaxiality of the clamp ring meet the specifications.
Measurement accuracy range: +/- 1ml (< 100ml ）； +/- 5ml (> 100ml).
