Overview
PN-SPT sanitary napkin permeability tester is an instrument developed according to the national standard GB/T 8939 and GB/T 28004 for detecting the penetration of sanitary napkins and diapers. It is mainly suitable for the penetration detection of sanitary napkins and sanitary pads for women, as well as the penetration performance detection of disposable diapers, diapers and paper diaper pads (nursing pads). It is not suitable for adult mild incontinence products.
Features
1. An instrument with two functions, measurement of the penetration of sanitary napkins and sanitary pads, measurement of the penetration performance of baby and adult diapers;
2. The angle of 10 ° and 30 ° is switched by plugging and unplugging the positioning pin, which is easy to operate.
Principle
Penetration is an important parameter to describe the permeability of sanitary napkins, which reflects the instantaneous absorption capacity of the product during simulated tidal surges. During testing, the dosing fluid flows down a slope, using gravity to simulate real usage, and flows over the surface of the sample. The unabsorbed volume is the slip permeability. Penetration performance includes slip permeability, re-leakage and leakage, which is a key indicator for evaluating the absorbency of products such as diapers.
Applications
Female sanitary napkins, sanitary pads, baby diapers, baby diapers, adult diapers, adult diapers, paper diaper pads (nursing pads)
Standards
GB/T 8939、GB/T 28004、QB/T 2493
Steps
1. According to the test Sample type (sanitary napkin/pad or diaper), switch the inclination angle to 10 ° or 30 ° by inserting and unplugging the positioning pin.
2. Place the specimen on the test bench.
3. Using 250 ml drainage funnel, flow the specified amount of test solution through the inclined specimen surface.
4. Measurement and recording of unabsorbed solution volume (slip) and other related parameters.
Notice
This instrument is not suitable for adult mild incontinence products, such as pampering towels.
Please select and switch the tilt angle (10 ° or 30 °) correctly according to the product type under test before testing.
Please ensure that the instrument is placed smoothly during operation, and the test solution is added according to the specified method.
Please maintain the instrument regularly to ensure the accuracy of the test results.
