Overview
The PN-SCTF Short Span Compression Test is a mechatronics testing instrument designed and developed according to the national standard GB/T 2679.10, which is suitable for the manufacture of paper and cardboard for cartons and cardboard. The instrument is used to measure the Short Span Compression Test (SCT) and short-range compression index of paper and cardboard to evaluate the strength of the base paper, and can be used to predict the compressire strength of the carton. The instrument is novel in design, easy to use and excellent in performance. It has data processing, display, memory, printing and communication functions.
Features
1. Adopt new module circuit design, with WIFI Internet of Things function, which can save the test results to the Cloud as a Service for inquiry and generate reports.
2. Clamp the specimen pneumatically.
3. With statistical function, it can display the average, Standard Deviation and Coefficient of Variation.
4. High-speed ARM processor, Degree of automation, fast data collection, automatic measurement, intelligent judgment function.
5. Adopt 24-bit High Accuracy AD Converter and High Accuracy Weighing Sensor to ensure the speed and accuracy of force data collection.
6. The display uses a 7-inch color Touchscreen.
7. Modular circuit design for easy maintenance and replacement.
8. Support bilingual operation menus in Chinese and English, and can be switched at any time.
9. Built-in thermal printer, the test report can be printed directly at the end of the test.
Principle
The testing principle of the instrument is to compress a 15mm wide specimen between two 0.7mm clamps until the specimen breaks, measure the maximum short-range compression force, and calculate the Short Span Compression Test (expressed in kN/m) and the short-range compression index (expressed in N.m/g).
Applications
Strength Testing of Paper and Cardboard for the Manufacture of Cartons and Cartons
Standards
GB/T2679.10、ISO9895
Steps
Prepare a 15mm wide specimen that meets the standard.
2. Place the specimen in the instrument fixture.
3. Start the pneumatic device to clamp the sample.
4. The instrument automatically performs compression testing until the specimen is destroyed.
5. After the test, the instrument automatically calculates and displays the results.
6. You can view statistics or print test reports through Touchscreen operation.
Notice
• Power supply voltage AC220V +/- 10%, 50Hz.
• The instrument should work in an environment with an indoor temperature of 20 +/- 10 ° C and a relative humidity < 85%.
• Please confirm that the width of the sample meets the requirement of 15mm before operation.
• Note that the free spacing of the specimen holder is 0.7 +/- 0.05mm.
