Overview
PN-PID inks printing Rub Resistance Tester (also known as Wear resistance instrument, Friction tester) is an instrument developed according to the national standard GB/T 7706 for detecting ink layer Abrasion Resistance. The instrument adopts modern mechanical design concepts, ergonomic principles and professional microcomputer processing technology, with novel design, convenient use and excellent performance. It is mainly suitable for abrasion resistance testing of printing ink layer, PS version photosensitive layer and related product surface coatings.
Features
1. Adopt microcomputer control, LCD dynamic display, and mechatronics principles to conduct a set friction test.
2. Before the test, enter the number of friction into the Control system, the test can be automatically controlled, and a beep will be prompted after each test.
3. Control system has power-off memory function, after each re-power, keep the parameters input before the last power-off state.
4. The actuator adopts High Accuracy Gear Deceleration Micro Motor to drive the friction body for linear reciprocating friction movement.
5. Fully meet the requirements of national standards and are compatible with international standards.
Principle
The friction paper is fixed on the friction body, and the sample to be tested is fixed on the friction table. After starting the instrument, the friction body reciprocates the sample at a set speed. Every time a reciprocating cycle is completed, the counter counts once. When the preset number of friction times is reached, the test automatically ends. By comparing the change of the inks density on the surface of the sample before and after friction, the degree of wear resistance can be judged.
Applications
Printing ink layer abrasion resistance testing, PS plate photosensitive layer abrasion resistance testing, related product surface coating abrasion resistance testing
Standards
GB/T 7706、ASTM D5264、TAPPI T830
Steps
1. Fix the friction paper to the friction body as required.
2. Fix the sample to be tested on the friction table as required.
3. Enter the preset number of friction through the Control system.
4. Start the instrument, and the friction body starts to rub the sample back and forth in a straight line.
5. After reaching the set number of times, the instrument automatically stops and beeps to indicate that the test is over.
6. Remove the sample and compare the changes in inks density before and after friction to evaluate Abrasion Resistance.
Notice
• Power supply voltage is AC 220V +/- 10% 50Hz.
The recommended size of the friction paper is 210 x 50mm, the recommended size of the sample is 280 x 60mm, and the width of the sample should be greater than the width of the friction paper.
The friction load can be selected according to the standard (GB: 20N; ASTM: 0.9kg).
• The instrument should work in an environment with indoor temperature (20 +/- 10) ° C and relative humidity < 85%.
• Please read the instructions carefully before operation and ensure that the instrument is placed on a stable workbench.
