Overview
PN-4PF500 four-point flexural strength tester is a mechatronics testing instrument designed and developed according to the national standard GB/T 23144 and ISO 5628. It is specially used for the measurement of bending stiffness (bending strength) of Corrugated Board and cardboard. The instrument adopts modern mechanical design concepts and ergonomic principles, and uses a high-speed ARM processor. It has the characteristics of novel design, convenient use and excellent performance. It is tested by four-point loading method, which can automatically complete loading, measurement and reset, and has data processing, display, memory, printing and communication functions.

Principle
The instrument uses a four-point loading method to measure bending stiffness. During the test, the specimen is placed on two supports with adjustable spacing. After starting, the upper pressure rod drops and applies a load to the specimen. When a preset force or distance value is reached, the measurement automatically stops and the pressure rod automatically returns to the initial position. Bending stiffness is the unit resistance moment produced when the paper and Cardboard are bent under force within the resilience deformation range. The measurement results can be read directly from the Touchscreen.

Steps
1. Place the specimen on two adjustable spacing supports.
2. Preset the relevant parameters on the Touchscreen.
3. Press the start button, and the upper pressure rod drops to apply a load to the sample.
4. When the preset force or distance is reached, the measurement is automatically stopped and the pressure rod is automatically reset.
5. Read the measurement results directly from the Touchscreen, and choose to print reports or perform data statistics.
Notice
• Instrument power requirements are AC 220V 2A 50Hz.
• Operating Environment Temperature should be within (20 +/- 10) ° C and relative humidity should be less than 85%.
• When testing, the sample width should be selected according to the type of corrugated: single corrugated and double corrugated are 100mm, and three corrugated are 50mm.
• The maximum range of the instrument is 500N, and the Indication Error is +/- 1%. Please pay attention to the range when using it.
• Communication interface, if you need to use it with the host computer software, you need to buy the corresponding software separately.
