Overview
PNSHAR PN-PWT powder whiteness meter is used to determine the ISO whiteness (R457 whiteness) of powdery objects, and can measure the fluorescent whiteness of fluorescent whitening samples. It is widely used in kaolin, Calcium Carbonate, tale powder, barite, activated clay, barium sulfate, oxidation mg, flour, cement and other powder samples, as well as paper, Spinning & weaving, chemical industry, building materials, grain and other production and commodity inspection departments that need to measure whiteness.
Features
1. Appearance Novel compact structure, professional circuit design effectively ensure Precision and Stability of measurement data.
2. The instrument has power-off protection function, and the calibrated data will not be lost after power-off.
3. Equipped with a standard RS232 interface, it can communicate with microcomputer software.
4. Simulate D65 illumination body illumination, using CIE 1964 supplementary chroma system and CIE 1976 (L * a * b *) color space Color difference formula.
5. Geometry conditions were observed using d/o illumination, the diameter of the diffusing ball is φ 150mm, the diameter of the test hole is φ 30mm, and a light absorber is provided to eliminate the influence of the mirror reflection of the sample.
6. The results of multiple measurements can be counted and the arithmetic average can be obtained.
Principle
The instrument simulates the illumination of the D65 illuminator and uses d/o illumination to observe Geometry conditions. The ray of light diffuses the illuminating sample through the integrating sphere. The instrument detects the ray of light reflected by the sample and calculates it according to the CIE 1964 supplementary chroma system and the CIE 1976 (L * a * b *) color space Color difference formula, resulting in ISO whiteness (R457 whiteness) and fluorescence whiteness. The built-in light absorber eliminates the influence of the specular reflection of the sample.
Applications
Kaolin, Calcium Carbonate, tale powder, barite, activated clay, barium sulfate, oxidation mg, flour, cement and other powder samples, paper, paper products, paper industry, Spinning & weaving, printing and dyeing, plastics, ceramics, enamel, building materials, paints, chemical industry, grain, salt, sugar production and commodity inspection department
Standards
GB/T 19281、GB/T 23774
Steps
1. Turn on the power supply and turn on the instrument.
2. According to the menu prompts, select Measurement mode (such as ISO whiteness or fluorescent whiteness).
3. Preparative samples that meet the requirements (test plane ≥ φ 30mm, thickness ≤ 40mm).
4. Place the specimen on the test hole.
5. Start the measurement, the instrument automatically reads and displays the results.
6, repeability measurement, the instrument supports the statistical average of multiple results.
7. After the measurement is completed, the data can be transferred to the computer through the RS232 interface (optional).
Notice
* The instrument should work in an environment with indoor temperature (20 +/- 10) ° C and relative humidity < 85%.
The size of the sample must meet the requirements of the test plane ≥ 30mm and the thickness ≤ 40mm.
* Ensure that the test hole and sample surface are clean to avoid contamination affecting the measurement results.
The instrument is equipped with a light absorber and should not be blocked or damaged during use.
Please keep it safe after use to avoid impact and moisture.
