Overview
RONGJIDA SZ-145 mortar consistency meter is designed and manufactured according to the standard of basic performance test method of construction mortar, and adopts a special scale disc indicator table. The instrument is used to determine the mixing ratio or the consistency of the mortar during the construction process to achieve the purpose of controlling the water consumption. The flowability consistency of the mortar is expressed by measuring the depth (centimeters) of the standard cone sinking freely in the mortar.
Features
1. Using special scale disc indicator table, the reading is intuitive.
2. The instrument has a stable structure and is mainly composed of a chassis, a bracket, a digital display ruler, a standard test cone, and a material container.
3. The digital display ruler can be adjusted to zero at any position, and the vertical sinking depth of the standard test cone can be read directly on the ruler.
4. Key components such as the total mass of the test cone and the slider, the size of the test cone, and the size of the container all meet the precise technical requirements.
Principle
The Working Principle of the mortar consistency meter is based on the standard measurement method. A standard cone (test cone) fixed by geometry and weight can freely sink into the mortar mixture to be tested under its own gravity. The consistency (flowability) of the mortar is expressed by the depth (centimeters) of the cone sinking. The greater the sinking depth, the better the mortar flowability and the smaller the consistency.
Applications
Determination of building mortar mix ratio and mortar consistency control during construction
Standards
Standard for basic performance test method of building mortar
Steps
1. Place the container containing the mortar sample on the instrument chassis.
2. Loosen the setting screws on the column, adjust the position of the cross arm and the scale (digital scale), so that the tip of the standard test cone is in contact with the surface of the mortar, and the scale can be adjusted to zero.
3. Tighten the screws to fix the cross arm.
4. Suddenly release the device for fixing the test cone, allowing the test cone to sink freely into the mortar by its own weight.
5. After the test cone stops sinking, read the sinking depth value directly from the digital display ruler, which is the mortar consistency value.
Notice
• Check the instrument before use to ensure that the rack that drives the dial is clean, without deformation, and the scale line is clear.
• Ensure that the surface of the slider and test cone is straight and smooth, and can fall freely by its own weight, without tightness and rattling.
• Regularly check whether the total mass of the test cone and the slider is 300 +/- 2g, and whether the size of the test cone meets the requirements.
• In the case of contact between the test cone and the base plane, check whether the maximum deviation of the test cone exceeds 1.5mm.
• When operating, ensure that the test cone sinks vertically and freely, and read the data until it is completely stationary.
• When the instrument is not in use, it should be cleaned, maintained and stored properly.
