Overview
The FANGRUI SSR Small Sample Adapter is a viscosity measurement device designed for small samples, capable of absolute viscosity measurement at a specified precise shear rate. The adapter consists of a cylindrical sample cup and rotor, and requires a small sample volume, only 10 to 20 mL.
Features
1. Dismountable sample cup: A small number of sample adapter accessories are uniquely designed, so that the replacement and cleaning of the sample cup can be carried out very easily without affecting the use of Viscometer or water bath, which is convenient for continuous measurement of a series of samples.
2. Temperature control: A small number of sample adapters are installed with water bath jackets and connected to thermostatic circulation baths to achieve accurate temperature control. Stir when the rotor swirls/spins and the sample volume is small, making the sample temperature very uniform and stable.
3. Coaxial cylinder structure: The coaxial cylinder structure of a small number of sample adapters can achieve accurate viscosity measurement at a specified shear rate.
Principle
A small number of sample adapters apply shear force to the sample at the swirl/spin of the rotor through the coaxial cylinder structure, enabling absolute viscosity measurement at the specified precise shear rate. The sample cup is matched with the rotor, combined with the water bath jacket and thermostatic circulation bath, to ensure precise temperature control and uniform sample temperature.
Applications
Viscosity measurement, laboratory analysis, sample testing
Steps
1. Install the bracket and sample cup fixing clip.
2. Load the sample cup into the adapter.
3. Add 10 to 20 mL of sample.
4. Connect the thermostatic circulating bath for temperature control.
5. Start Viscometer for measurement.
Notice
• Sample cup replacement and cleaning should ensure that it does not affect Viscometer or water bath use.
• Check whether the water bath jacket connection is firm before use.
The sample size should be controlled within the range of 10 to 20 milliliters.
• Ensure that the rotor fits correctly with the sample cup to avoid measurement errors.
