Overview
The FARUI linear abrasion meter is used to evaluate the performance of products such as Abrasion Resistance, Scratch Resistance (single or multiple scratches) and Color Transmission (such as rubbing camel or rubbing fastness). The instrument can perform dry and wet abrasion testing, and can test samples of any size or shape. It is especially suitable for abrasion testing of products with contoured and polished surface characteristics, such as computer mice and other IT products.
Features
1. Moving distance, Rotation speed, number of revolutions, load and other parameters can be set.
2. A variety of different abrasion media and accessories (such as sample fixing table, etc.) can be selected to cooperate with hanging, damage degree testing, alcohol resistance testing, coin scratch resistance and other tests.
3. Use high-mass abrasion material to make the grinding head (the size and shape of the eraser head like the end of a pencil) to ensure the Stability and accuracy of the test.
Principle
The instrument through the programmable control of the grinding head, at the set moving distance, Rotation speed, number of revolutions and load, the surface of the sample is linearly reciprocated or swirl/spin friction to simulate the actual use of abrasion, scratching situation, so as to evaluate the sample wear resistance, scratch resistance and other performance.
Applications
Plastics, Auto Parts, Rubber, Leather and Spinning & Weaving, Eletroplating, Free Removal Components, Lacquer Products, Printing Patterns
Standards
CE standard, ASTM D3884, ASTM D1175, ASTM D1044, ASTM D4060, TAPPI T476, ISO 9352, ISO 5470-1, JIS K7204, JIS A1453, JIS K6902, JIS L1096, JIS K6964, DIN 52347, DIN 53109, DIN 53754, DIN 53799
Steps
1. According to the test requirements, set the moving distance, Rotation speed, number of revolutions, load and other parameters of the instrument.
2. Select the appropriate abrasion medium and accessories (e.g. sample holding table) and install them on the instrument.
3. Secure the sample to be tested properly.
4. Start the instrument and start the abrasion test.
5. After the test is completed, the sample is removed for evaluation.
Notice
• Before testing, please set the test parameters correctly and select the appropriate abrasion medium according to the relevant standards and requirements.
• Ensure that the sample is firmly fixed to prevent displacement during testing.
• Clean and maintain the instrument after use to maintain its performance.
Please pay attention to safety during operation.
