Overview
The SUNDOO LP-10-C Rubber Multi-Head Thickness Gauge is a Dial thickness gauge with a simple structure design and removable base. The instrument is dedicated to the measurement of cable, soft insulation, wire and sheath material thickness and the thickness of vulcanized rubber and plastic products. Measurement range is 0~ 10000 μm, dial scale is clear, Graduation is 0.01mm.

Principle
The thickness gauge is a mechanical measuring instrument. Standard pressure is applied to the upper probe by a specific mass of heavy hammer to make the probe press the measured sample. During measurement, the lower probe is fixed, and the upper probe moves vertically under the action of heavy hammer. The displacement amount is indicated by the pointer on the dial to read the thickness value of the sample.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate probe and weight according to the material being tested.
2. Place the instrument on a stable bench.
3. Place the tested sample flat on the lower probe platform.
4. Gently lower the measurement arm of the probe to make the probe contact with the sample.
5. After the pointer is stable, read the corresponding thickness value on the dial.
Notice
• Before use, make sure the instrument is placed on a stable, vibration-free table.
• According to the Hardness and thickness of the material to be tested, choose the appropriate probe and weight combination.
• During measurement, ensure that the surface of the tested sample is flat, clean and free of impurities.
When reading values, the line of sight should be perpendicular to the pointer and dial to reduce parallax.
The instrument is a precision machine and should be used and stored to avoid impact and drop.
